Scrum Master

Role Summary

Boutiqaat is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong exposure to e-commerce platforms to enable
high-performing Agile teams across India, Cairo, and Kuwait. The role is responsible for facilitating Scrum, removing
impediments, and driving continuous improvement so that teams deliver scalable, customer-centric commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and
Retrospectives for one or more teams
- Coach and mentor teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles, fostering a culture of
ownership and continuous improvement
- Ensure effective coordination and communication between India, Cairo, and Kuwait teams; manage cross-team
dependencies and time-zone challenges
- Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments; escalate risks and issues where required while enabling team
self-organization
- Partner with Product Owners to keep product and sprint backlogs refined, prioritized, and ready, ensuring clarity of
requirements and acceptance criteria
- Track and analyze key Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burn-down, cycle time, and quality, using insights to
improve predictability and throughput
- Support the adoption and scaling of Agile practices across Boutiqaat
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments, preferably in product-based or e-commerce
organizations
- Hands-on experience working with distributed, cross-cultural teams across multiple locations or time zones
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks; experience with Kanban or scaled frameworks (SAFe, LeSS,
Nexus) is a plus
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, resolve conflicts, and influence without authority across business and technology
stakeholders
- Practical experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence, including configuring boards, workflows, and reports
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with strong spoken and written English; Arabic is a plus
Educational Qualifications (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Management, or Operations with strong hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.

Certifications (Preferred)
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent scaled
Agile certification.
