**IT Director - Job Description**

**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our dynamic technology team in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on driving innovation within our retail operations. This role is pivotal in shaping our IT strategy, managing ERP solutions, and ensuring seamless technology integration across all business functions. **Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a diverse team of system administrators and ERP professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our Odoo ERP system, ensuring it meets the operational needs of our retail business, including finance, accounting, POS, warehouse, and manufacturing modules.
- Develop and execute IT policies and procedures, ensuring robust data security practices are in place and align with industry standards.
- Manage relationships and contracts with software vendors, ensuring the procurement of cost-effective and reliable technology solutions.
- Lead ERP project management initiatives, facilitating smooth deployments and integrations, while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
- Provide strategic direction for cloud deployment and management, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AWS for scalable and secure solutions.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to enhance digital platforms, ensuring technology supports a seamless customer journey.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with substantial experience in leadership roles such as IT Manager, Tech Lead, or ERP Manager.
- Proven hands-on experience with Odoo for at least two years, in a technical, functional, or project management capacity.
- Strong ERP experience, with familiarity in systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and foundational knowledge of information and data security.
- Experience in drafting and implementing IT policies and procedures.
- Currently residing in Saudi Arabia.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Retail industry experience, particularly in managing POS systems.
- Experience in e-commerce technology solutions.
- AWS certification or demonstrated expertise in cloud deployment and management.
- Proven track record of successful ERP project management.
